Each of our team members brings something special and unique to the table, with all of them ensuring that services we offer are integrated, holistic, and personalized for each of our clients.

Carolina Castanos, Ph.D., LMFT

Founder of ReConnect, Dr. Castanos has more than 25 years of clinical experience as a psychotherapist for individuals and couples. She holds a Ph.D. in Marriage and Family Therapy and has received extensive post-doctoral training in Emotionally Focused Therapy for working with couples (EFT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP), Neuropsychology, and Hypnosis. More than a decade ago she started her private practice, Dr. C Therapist (www.drctherapist.com) and since then has helping individuals, couples, and families heal from past wounds, by assisting them to find different and better ways to connect with others and live more fulfilling lives.

Andrea Barton, RYT500®, RPYT®, RCYT®, CCE

Andrea is a 500-hr registered yoga teacher, registered prenatal and children’s yoga teacher and certified childbirth educator. Her classes invite you to notice subtle sensations within your body, and to cultivate your breath as a tool for emotional regulation and presence. Andrea’s passion for supporting families evolved from her joyous and challenging experiences of pregnancy, home-birth and raising three children.

Britt Duque, DHN, BCHN, MPP

Britt is a Functional Nutrition and Lifestyle Coach who is Board Certified in Holistic Nutrition through the National Association of Nutrition Professionals, earned a Diploma in Holistic Nutrition, and also holds a Masters of Public Policy. Her nutrition and lifestyle practice promotes establishing individualized, attainable wellness goals and utilizes evidence-based methodologies to examine diet, lifestyle, and supplementation needs. Britt focuses on each client’s foundational Gut-Brain wellness as a means of re-establishing mental and physical balance; addressing root causes, deficiencies, and imbalances in the body. Whole foods nutrition and holistic lifestyle interventions motivate Britt as they’ve transformed not only the lives of her clients, but her life and that of her family.

Natalia Yudenitsch

Natalia is a Brazilian Ayurvedic Practitioner specialized in Ayurvedic Nutrition who studied at the EIVS (European Institute of Vedic Studies) with Atreya Smith (who has authored several books in Ayurveda in the US). Natalia also studied and worked in Nagpur/India for several years with the renowned Dr Sunil Joshi and his clinic Vinayak Panchakarma Chikitsalaya. Natalia has been practicing as an Ayurvedic practitioner for the last 15 years.

Summer Greenlees, LMT

Summer Greenlees has worked as a professional massage therapist and yoga instructor for over 20 years.Her yoga classes and yoga therapy sessions are based on a somatic approach, strongly inspired by her Yoga teacher, Donna Farhi, and her own experience with yoga, bodywork and maternity support.Summer has completed thousands of hours of yoga and massage therapy as well as several certification programs. Her extensive studies have refined her knowledge of anatomy and alternative healing methods, such as Acupressure, Shiatsu, Ashiatsu, Watsu, Healing Dance, Bodywork for the Childbearing Year, Neuromuscular Therapy, Myofascial Release, and Reiki. She is a gentle guide, sharing resources, as well as inviting students to explore their own self-discovery, self-empowerment, and overall wellness.

Judy Kegg

Judy has been a practicing Massage Therapy specializing in Watsu Aquatic Bodywork for 25 years. Her clients range from babies to end of life planning. Judy brings a level of comfort for her clients whether it’s for the physical, emotional, or spiritual aspect that can arise while working in the water. Her work on the land can be very grounding and is a great compliment to her water work. Judy has hosted several trainings and mentors aquatic massage students. She also has been an active volunteer in our community working to help promote mental health and hosting Community Pay What You Can events for Aquatic Bodywork.

Michele Schalin

Michele is a Mindfulness Coach, Breathwork Facilitator, Sound Practitioner, Meditation Guide, and International Speaker. She teaches simple, effective techniques to help you handle anxiety, depression, PTSD, physical pain and more. You learn how to have more control over your thinking, and change your subconscious beliefs ultimately, transforming your life. Michele has over 30 years of experience in guiding thousands of people on their journey of personal healing and spiritual growth through private mentoring, classes, and workshops.

Carissa Kelly LAc. MSTCM

Carissa is a Licensed Acupuncturist and Herbalist in the State of Illinois and California. Her 13 years practicing Chinese Medicine has included acupuncture, nutrition therapy, theta healing, applied kinesiology, and lifestyle medicine. In 2003, she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Nutritional Sciences from Michigan State University. Being fascinated by the inner workings of the body, mind and spirit, she went on to study Traditional Chinese Medicine and earned a Master’s Degree from the prestigious American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in San Francisco. Her specialties are in treating pain, the full spectrum of Women’s health including all aspects of fertility treatment, and mental health and stress.
