In-Person and Online Yoga Sessions and Classes

We believe the many benefits of yoga are best integrated when it is practiced in a thoughtful, comfortable, and tranquil environment. This is precisely what you’ll find at our ReConnect center in Austin, Texas. We offer personalized private yoga sessions for individuals, couples, families, and small groups as well as a variety of specialized yoga classes with no more than six participants, provided in quiet, intimate settings, so that our guests can be fully immersed in their personal experience.

Due to the current situation with the COVID pandemic and to accommodate our clients who are at high risk for severe illness, we also offer the option of online private yoga sessions and specialized online yoga classes.

What Specialized Yoga Services We Offer

Below are the specialized holistic yoga services that we offer at ReConnect as private sessions as well as small-groups classes.

Yoga for Connection

The ReConnect couples yoga service aims to increase communication, connection, and trust with your partner. The practices and techniques in these sessions are designed for you and your partner to execute together, using each other as a means of support while helping you maintain balance and ideal alignment for your body.

Yoga for Anxiety

Yoga is a fantastic tool for managing the sensations of anxiety. Our Yoga for Anxiety sessions teach a variety of techniques to reduce the symptoms that come with this condition through a mixture of movements and relaxing breathwork exercises. These poses, or asanas, work to relieve tension, boost relaxation, and gently bring you into the present moment.

Yoga for Depression

Depression is a common condition that can affect our day-to-day lives a great deal. Thankfully, we can guide our internal systems towards balance through thoughtful movements, breathwork and reflection. Our Yoga for Depression sessions can assist you with refocusing on the present moment as well as reducing symptoms (such as fatigue, pain, and issues with sleep) that often accompany depression.

Yoga for Tension

We offer Yin yoga to help with tension, focusing primarily on connective tissues such as the ligaments, tendons, fascia, and bones. Yin is a slower, but not necessarily easier, style of yoga practice where the practitioner is often seated or lying down on the mat. This style of yoga leverages the breath, interoception (the felt sense of the body) and introspection to befriend the impermanence of sensation.

Yoga for Families

Our yoga for families’ sessions focus on enhancing strength, flexibility, balance, alignment, focus and concentration. All family members connect more closely with their inner wisdom and guidance, which in turn enhances the connection among members. And above all, it’s fun!

Yoga for Children and Teens

One of the many wonderful things about yoga is that absolutely anyone can enjoy it – even little ones! At ReConnect, we offer classes for kids and teens so that they too can experience the wonderful effects of practicing yoga. Our children’s class is designed for kids between the ages of 6 to 9, and it incorporates fun aspects such as songs and the imagination to move intuitively. Our teen’s yoga sessions are designed to equip teens with tools to regulate their emotions, reduce stress levels, and improve concentration.

Prenatal Yoga

Prenatal yoga is fantastic for helping alleviate undesirable aches and pains that occur during pregnancy, while promoting relaxation and length throughout the body. The bones and joints, level of endurance, and pelvic floor are toned and supported when you regularly partake in prenatal yoga. This is the perfect time to connect in a special way with your inner self and your growing baby, as well as to uncover how much the breath affects the body.

Postnatal Yoga

In postnatal yoga, you are welcome to come just as you are, riding the ups and down of early parenting. Finding a community, you can relate to makes a huge difference in this new phase of life and can help you stay present. Our postnatal yoga sessions emphasize breathwork and poses to relieve tension throughout the upper body, which help improve posture, circulation, and strength.
